Elise Residential Ltd is owned and operated by me, Darren Wragg. I'm a down to earth, no nonsense, plain speaking Yorkshireman - no frills but lots of knowledge and expereince. I love to work with real people, good and honest people who like to be treated the way they are treated. If thats you, lets talk.

A few years ago after many a day, week, month and year of working for someone else, I decided the only real way to get the full reward for my work was to do it for myself. I take pride in my work and follow the ‘do it once, do it right first time’ ethos. It was at this point that I left the Sales and Contracts Manager job I’d been doing for over 20 years with a building products company and started out on my own doing property maintenance. Yes I left a secure job I’d been in for a long time so quite a leap!

I realized that after working in/on more than 1500 houses in 7 years, enjoying the work along with direct face to face interaction with my clients, I could be doing more if I were to broaden my offerings, employ my 20 years plus experience in building and went deeper into property.

I read a lot of books and magazines, attended a lot of seminars and meetings before carefully selecting a mentor to train with. I invested heavily in knowledge and training with a group who collectively have now sourced and sold over £100,000,000 worth of property. Its been a bumpy ride however I now have a healthy business with strong turnover. I locate great value Buy To Let Properties for clients who are Uk or overseas based – they don’t need to live in the next street to use my service and invest in my area!

I now work with busy professionals from all backgrounds and industries. We work together to make their money work more efficiently for them. We invest mainly in Buy To Let properties. These are very popular due to the hands free nature of the arrangement. I find good properties for them and make sure the financials stack up. I refurbish them where needed on the clients behalf before working with a reputable letting agent to put a good tenant inside. The client receives a passive secondary income from the rent. In addition to this, our carefully selected properties are quietly experiencing capital growth, ie as it sits there earning rent, its also increasing in value so that when it is sold in the future, whether it be 2 or 20 years time, it sells for more than it cost, sometimes alot more!
